When you think of the most important portrait in your home, what do you think of? Are you reminded of a special loved one who is now all grown up? Maybe you think of someone who means more to you than you could ever describe.
For me, the portrait that I think of that means so much to me is the one below. This is a portrait of my Dad and our girls when they were very small. It depicts the relationship that I had with my Dad when I was a little girl. He was very important to my childhood and was all-in when it came to our relationship.
This portrait was created over 30 years ago! But, it is priceless for our family. When I look at it, I see my childhood. I see my Daddy. I see happy memories that our children shared with my father. There are several portraits that draw me into an emotional state, but, this one is special. Our girls are all grown up with families of their own and my Dad has passed into Eternity. “Tell Us Again Grandpa” will always be a very special portrait and keepsake for our family.
